The “Lav” or lapel microphone is used to record high-quality audio by clipping onto the top of your upper clothing.
It allows instructors to be hands-free while preserving the audio quality for both in-person and virtual courses.
Lav mics are better than boom mics because they are portable and they are more discreet, as they are usually not noticeable on camera.
