E-learning is short for electronic learning via a computer or device.
It can be delivered via computer or mobile device in a structured environment, such as a Learning Management System (LMS). Elearning provides students with the opportunity to learn in a more self-paced, independent environment. It also provides more flexibility to the students and the instructor, which may increase learning efficiency.
Most schools, organizations, and instructors incorporate some level of elearning into their courses. As the world continues to transform digitally, students are seeking out classes that fit their lifestyles, which are often saturated with technology.
