Collaborative Learning occurs when students learn together. In an online environment, this could include one or several group lessons, chat rooms, or community message boards with learning areas.
Students can participate in collaborative learning at the same time, or they can complete their work independently and return to the community forum at their convenience. Ultimately, collaborative learning doesn’t have to be synchronous. It just has to be interactive within a group setting.
Students may learn better using this method by hearing other perspectives, asking questions, and learning new ideas.
